Picture the Lord’s Prayer pendant resting in your palm: the whole prayer engraved in a circle 1.4 inches across, every word still readable. That detail comes from how it’s made. Every Grace & Glory Jewelry piece is 3D printed directly in 925 sterling silver in the USA, then polished, plated if you chose gold or rose gold, and sent out from the US in our gift box.
Here’s the whole process, from the first sketch to the box on your doorstep.
How is Grace & Glory Jewelry made?
- A sketch and a name. Every design starts as a hand drawing, and it gets its name and its Bible story before it’s made. Miriam and Moses were the first two, both hollow crosses.
- A digital model. The sketch is turned into an exact 3D file, down to the veins of the Deborah charm’s palm leaf.
- Printed in silver. A metal 3D printer builds the piece directly in recycled 925 sterling silver.
- Polished. Each piece is finished by polishing until it shines.
- Plated, if you chose it. Gold pieces get 24K gold plating, rose gold pieces get 14K rose gold plating, both over the sterling silver.
- Packed and shipped. It goes into the Grace & Glory Jewelry gift box and ships from the US.
In-stock pieces ship within 1–3 business days. If a piece is out of stock, it goes through these same steps for you and takes 3–4 weeks in total.
What does “3D printed in silver” mean?
It means the printer works in metal. It builds the piece layer by layer in sterling silver, so the finished necklace or charm is solid 925 sterling silver all the way through. There is no plastic or resin in what you wear.
Is 3D-printed silver jewelry durable?
Yes. It’s the same 925 sterling silver as any fine silver jewelry, made to be worn every day. Like all silver and plated jewelry, it lasts longest when you take it off for the shower, the pool and sleep. Our care guide has the details.
Why we print our jewelry in silver
Detail. A 0.7-inch crown of thorns with a rose woven through it, a sword with a hilt you can feel under your thumb, a prayer engraved small enough to wear: printing in metal keeps every line exactly as it was drawn.
It also keeps every piece consistent. The David sword you order looks like the one in the photos, because it’s printed from the same design file.
Is it really made in the USA?
Yes. Every step, from the first layer of silver to your order leaving for your door, happens in the USA. Every piece is nickel-free and hypoallergenic. Browse the necklaces or the charms to see the details up close, or read how the Bible shapes each design in From Scripture to Silver.
Each piece is drawn by hand, modeled digitally and 3D printed directly in recycled 925 sterling silver in the USA. It is then polished, plated in 24K gold or 14K rose gold if you choose a gold finish, and shipped from the US in a gift box.
